We rented this game from Redbox and my 7-year old son loves it! He's been playing it non-stop and having a blast! click here
I purchased this game (from my son) for my husband for Father's Day. We love it. The new game is a lot of fun play. You go to different places, try to get castles and collect cookies. If you land on a free spot - free castle. If two players land on the same spot and no castle is there yet - you get to pick a present to see who gets that castle. However, if you land on a space that has someone else's castle - LET THE BATTLE BEGIN!!! The battles are pretty funny (shaving sheep, making pizza, shooting flying pumpkins). You collect the cookies as you go through the game. You get them just moving, when you land on your own castle you get a bonus, and when you defend your castle and win you get more cookies (from the other player(s). The object is to get all the cookies first and make it back to the Cookie Factory. My husband, son (who is 5 years old) and I love it. Now if playing this new way is not your thing - no worries. The classic Pac-Man is on this disk to enjoy too. It also has the original arcade classics of Dig Dug and Galaza! Too much fun to miss!!! here
I grew up playing Pac Man and I absolutely love this game. It is a little hard for my 4 year old granddaughter but she will get better at it the more she plays. As for myself, I love it and would recommend this game to anyone who grew up playing and loving pac man.
Pacman World You Shall Not Feel Dissapointed About Buying This Thing

This game was a lot of fun! The graphics were cool, the controls were tight, the camera didn't misbehave much and it was an overall joy to play. My only complaint, and the reason for the 4 stars, is that it was just too short. With only 15 levels and 6 bosses I beat the whole game in one weekend,(10-12 hours) so I'm not sure it's worth recommending a purchase. However if you're a huge Pac fan, or you're a little less experienced with these platformer type games then I think you'll find a highly enjoyable game for a reasonable price.Dan pacman

I haven't touched my Xbox 360 in a few months, because I'm tired and fed up with all these complicated video games. I wanted to return to classics and just zone out a bit, this is a great thing for just that! I was looking for something I could just play almost anywhere, with the retro graphics, and with Galaga and Galaxian under the same roof. I am very satisfied with this product, all the games are great! I wish kids these days would pick up more of these arcade classics. kids games online

Okay, so the machine was made in 2001, but it still held the true originals. Ms. Pac-Man is that really popular maze game in which you play as the miss in action. Since the stand-up version of this machine is pretty much everywhere I've been to, chances are that the machine lets you play as a Ms. Pac-Man that runs as fast as Sonic the Hedgehog! The enemies do stunts in space while moving down towards you, the "boss" aliens can steal your ship, there are bonus levels, and you can even steal your ship BACK, allowing you to shoot DOUBLE the amount of firepower! Overall, if you are an arcade owner, or just some person who wants an arcade machine in your room, this is for you.

First I should mention that the iCade cabinet design changed, and doesn't look like the picture on this page. It has more of a rainbow look to it. Don't worry though, it looks great. Very 80s. The hardware itself is excellent. The joystick and buttons are super-responsive, just like a real arcade machine. Assembly was a little annoying; the screws and holes didn't always line up too well. Once you get it together, though, the construction is solid. It uses two AA batteries for power, and comes with them, which is nice. There's a port for an AC adapter, too, but it doesn't come with that and the manual doesn't give its specifications. It says you can buy one on ION Audio's website, but at the time I write this, you can't yet. There's no power switch, you turn the iCade on by pressing one of the buttons or moving the stick. There's a lighted coin slot on the front that acts as a power light. When you don't use the iCade for a few minutes, it turns off automatically, which is nice for conserving battery life. The iCade connects to the iPad over Bluetooth. It works fine, though you'll want to turn the Bluetooth on the iPad off when you're not using a related app, since apparently the iPad thinks it's a keyboard and won't display the on-screen keyboard in other apps, like Safari, while it's connected. The only software that supports the iCade so far is the Atari's Greatest Hits app, which comes with one free game. At first it was Pong, but now it's Missile Command. It may change to a different game later. The app has 18 arcade games and 82 Atari 2600 games. You can buy a 4-pack of related games, like Centipede and Millipede for both arcade and 2600, for $0.99, or you can buy all 100 games for $14.99. I bought all the games for simplicity's sake, though they're not all gems. Most of the arcade games are good or at least OK, but frankly, most of the 2600 games suck. Backgammon? Circus Atari? Concentration? Really? Some surprised me, like Battlezone, which is almost better than the arcade version. Some classics like Adventure are here too, plus unreleased prototypes like Combat 2. A lot of the arcade games are vector games, like Asteroids, Battlezone, and Tempest to name a few. Unfortunately there are no third-party games yet; a lot of the best games of the era were made by other companies, such as Pac-Man (Namco), Space Invaders (Taito), Defender (Williams), and many others. Some are already on the App Store, but don't support the iCade. ION has said that they have a simple API that app developers can implement to support it, and hopefully they will do so. The iCade only supports portrait mode on the iPad, so for some of the games you have to fiddle with the settings to make sure it displays in portrait and not landscape. For most games you just have to change the "Orientation" option to Portrait, but for other games you have to change the "Control type" to Arcade. It would be nice if there was an option that changed it globally, but it does save your options for each game, so you only have to change it for each one once. Unfortunately, you can't adjust the joystick sensitivity in the app, so it's much more difficult to control games with paddles, like Pong, Warlords, and Breakout. I actually prefer to use the touch controls for those games. For most of the other games, though, the iCade controls are far superior. Overall, I don't think it's worth buying an iPad specifically for this, since you could put together your own full-size arcade machine from various parts (cabinet, screen, PC with MAME, speakers, etc) for not much more. Still, if you have an iPad already, it's great fun and very worth the price of the iCade. Note that if you're paying more than $100 for this you're being ripped off. That's ION Audio's list price.
I just got this unit a while back. It is awesome. I took it to a friends house, and we played for hours while his PS3, Wii, and XBox 360 collected dust. The only con is that the joystick is starting to feel just a little mushy. Though I think it might be from my nieces and nephews wrenching too hard on it. The games on it are so much fun. Really brings back memories. kids games online
Upon receiving this, no sound was produced with the game. When i went to the mfr's web site to contact them the customer support email address returned my email as undeliverable. I'd look elsewhere...

One of the simplest, yet most addictive, arcade games to come out of the 1980s is PacMan. All across the globe, hardcore players are still vying for high scores. This game has appeared on nearly every game console over the years, to mixed reviews. Right now we should learn something about Paul Neave's flash version of the game.
What in the world brings you hear if you aren't personally familiar with PacMan? Since we all know that you know nothing about gaming, whatsoever. I'm starting to wonder if you are a space alien who got online accidentally. Here is a brief description anyway.
You are the PacMan. You may be asking: "what is a PacMan?" pacman

After more than 20 years, the consensus is that he is a type of supernatural cheese man addicted to yellow M&Ms, fearful of colors other than blue who is trapped, for whatever reasons, in a maze with rainbow-colored ghosts. Eat all the dots on a stage, flee the ghosts, and use the power pellets to turn the tables. Worth bonus points pop up with pieces of candy or fruit at times. A new board will appear when the old one is empty of its dots. That's the whole game, and it could go on for days given a very proficient player.
Whether due to the limitations of the hardware, programming, or the developer's decisions, most ports of the Pac-Man arcade game follow the same basic game-play features of the original, though there can be slight differences.
While, in some versions, the differences are not as previlent, in others, they are not present at all. This version caused me to have a couple of major complaints. The first is the speed of PacMan's movements. The pace of the game play is different than the arcade version, but you can still play the game just fine. The artificial intelligence on the ghosts was another problem, which caused them to be not as sharp as they could have been. More than once I perceived that they would careen into the walls instead of pursuing me. They got back to it fairly quickly when they figured out what they were supposed to do but this little glitch really bugged me.
PacMan has never been one of my favorite games, however it can be entertaining to play for a short amount of time and more so when it's free. As I played PacMan, it reignited fond memories of continually putting quarters in arcade games down by the beach. Locating an arcade will be pretty challenging.
Final Analysis
In the end, the port we've been discussing runs a pretty close second to the original. If you are looking for the original PacMan experience without having to go to an arcade, then this version is about as true as you will ever get. It isn't the biggest deal in the world, but that doesn't mean it isn't worth your while to look at it.
